Amazing Race Gold Reef City
You have been invited to the most popular team building event in South Africa. Our Amazing Race has low physical requirements and is fit for all ages, and nobody is forced to go on rides. Activities include the Amazing Race with access to all Thrill Rides. This is the most popular team building event in SA, and you will also find other companies competing on the day, but you will compete only against your own teams.
*Strict covid protocols are enforced, all our facilitators have been covid vaccinated, and please wear a mask and sanitize regularly.

Parking at "Gate #3"

Use the Main Theme Park Entrance, go through the boom, and park at the Theme Park Hotel behind the Anaconda (Gate #3) - not at the Main Public Parking. We There will designated security guards at the parking, and there is no cover charge to park.
Meet & Greet, Coffee & Muffins
Gold Reef Stewards will meet you at the Theme Park Hotel Parking ("Gate #3"), sign in, and find your way to Barney's – past Oldies Diner to the fountain, opposite the Theme Park Hotel Reception.

Special Dietary Instructions; Halal, Vegan, Vegetarian
The facilitators will take the halal orders and other dietary requirements on arrival. Halal meals are ordered on arrival from ANAT inside the Theme Park. Vegetarian dish from the buffet lunch - or the chef can quickly whip you something special. You may bring your own Kosher Meals. We regret, “Banting” is a "preference" and not a dietary requirement.
We will divide the teams
We will divide the teams in ±10 people per team. Each team will get a different colour String Bag to hold your goodies. We regret, you cant pick a colour.

08h45 Halal, Vegan, and Vegetarian Meals are ordered on arrival 08h45 Meet & Greet, Coffee & Giant Muffins We will only start when you all have arrived, or the late comers can fall in as the Thrill Rides only start to open by 09h30. 09h20 Ice Breakers and Dividing Teams. Everybody will get a Sling Bag to put your personal belongings in. We regret, you can not use a specific colour. Everybody in the same team, will get the same colour Sling Bag – Blue, Pink, Orange, Green, Yellow, Black, White, Red, and Purple. 10h00 Amazing Race Riddles & Puzzles (Thrill Rides) Teams have to solve puzzles & riddles, and go on Thrill Rides. At least four people must go on a ride. 11h00 Refreshment Break Water, Chicken Cheese Griller Footlongs (halaal). Vegetarian options available, please order from Maud on arrival. 11h20 Amazing Race Imagination Teams have to use their imagination and take group pics with abstract backgrounds – brilliant. 12h00 Missing Millions Treasure Hunt Teams get three riddles that lead to three locations, and have to find three different coins. (we have replaced the “Win a Teddy” with “Missing Millions” as we now have more winners) 12h20 Bonus Points - Giant Wheel, Tower of Terror, and Fun Train 13h00 Buffet Lunch, Desserts and a Soft Drink The buffet consists of a typical Tsogo Sun Buffet, with of Lamb Curry or a Beef Stew, Fried Hake or other Seafood, Roast Chicken, Rice, Pasta, Sauces, Assorted Veggies, Baby Potatoes, a table with Assorted Cheese & Salads, and a Dessert Table with Malva Pudding and Custard, and Assorted Nummies. This menu is not cast and stone, and may vary from day to day
